FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
This is a great question.
We understand it may seem unreasonable to pay out of pocket for physical therapy.
However, we have many patients who are happy to do so because they have such a better experience with us than when they go to an in-network clinic.
One thing to consider: have you met your deductible? If not, you will need to pay out of pocket for physical therapy at an in-network clinic anyway.
Another to consider: Higher quality treatment can mean the difference between experiencing a lasting solution versus short-term relief or even no relief... We stop at nothing to help you experience lasting relief and solution by spending quality time with you. We teach you how to move in a way that solves the root of the problem. We use hands-on techniques and manual therapy throughout the session to help you heal and feel great. We can do this because we are not distracted by a high volume of patients that require our attention at any one time. This ends up saving you time and money in the long-run, because it eliminates the need for constantly paying for short-term relief through other treatments... It reduces the chances that you need surgery (if that applies to you) because the poor service you receive at another clinic did not work.
Vital Fortitude Rehab and Performance is out of network, meaning, we do not bill your insurance for services provided. Insurance is not typically concerned with the quality of care you receive.
If we billed insurance, we would be incentivized to see multiple patients per hour. This results in patients being handed-off to techs for treatment, which drastically reduces the quality of care they receive.
We uphold the highest quality of service so that you can more conveniently experience lasting results, in a way that is time-efficient for you.
We offer Superbills after treatment, with a list of all services provided that you can give to your insurance provider. They then may reimburse you retroactively for physical therapy services you've received from us.
Our physical therapy sessions are typically 60 minutes long, and we work with each patient to develop a personalized treatment plan based on their unique needs and goals.
The number of sessions needed to see results varies depending on the individual and their condition. Our team will work with you to establish realistic goals and expectations for your rehabilitation journey.
Yes, we provide you with exercises to reinforce the solution to the underlying cause that is in your way. We do not hand you a sheet of exercises that you will never want to do.. We give a personalized program based on things we do in the clinic, with videos that help you remember how to do the movements in-case you forget certain aspects of them.
The cost of the Total Body Diagnostic session (the initial evaluation) is $150 dollars. Payment is due at the time of service.
The cost of the care plan after the initial evaluation varies widely, but it will be figured out and discussed during the first visit. You will never have a surprise bill or treatment cost from us.
